  • About Coach

I began my career in Brazil, my country of origin, where I earned my degree in Psychology in 2013. I spent several years working in the corporate environment with a focus on leadership development, team training, and organizational growth. Alongside my professional career, fitness has always been a constant in my life. I have trained consistently since the age of 14 in traditional gyms, where I first developed body awareness and learned the importance of movement, health, and nutrition. My first CrossFit class was in 2019, and it was a defining moment for me. What had once felt like an obligation quickly became a true source of joy. Within one year, I was competing and training consistently, fully immersed in the sport. Seeking new challenges and continued growth, I moved to San Diego to pursue a master’s degree in Organizational Psychology. During this time, I became a member of Fortius in 2022, which quickly became my happy place. In 2024, I had the opportunity to become a coach at the gym that had already become such an important part of my life. After falling in love with coaching, I pursued my Personal Trainer certification to further expand my skill set. I am currently working toward a future specialization that integrates the two areas I am most passionate about - psychology and fitness.

    Turning Point

I am currently living through a period of transition and deep personal change, experiencing a clear shift between what I have studied and done in the past and my present reality. Completely changing my life - including moving to another country - pushed me to rediscover myself and opened the door to a new professional path that brings me genuine happiness. I am still in a process of self-discovery, but my outlook is optimistic. I am expanding my creativity and creating opportunities to integrate all of my experiences moving forward. Working at the intersection of psychology and sport would be deeply meaningful and fulfilling for me.

    Motivation & Passion

Connecting with people is something I have always genuinely enjoyed - listening, observing, guiding, and supporting others. Coaching allows me to bring all of these elements together in my work. As a CrossFit practitioner for over six years, I understand firsthand what I value in both a class and a coach. Energy, organization, consistency, and a strong sense of community are essential to me, and I work hard to embody these qualities every day on the coaching floor.
