CrossFit Level 1 Certification
My passion for fitness started early through flag football, dance, and team acro. Movement was always part of my life, but everything changed in 2016 when I discovered CrossFit in a small town in Idaho - thanks to a Groupon. What began as stepping outside my comfort zone quickly became a lifelong pursuit. Through years of military life and frequent relocations, CrossFit became my anchor. I trained wherever I could - often in my own garage - learning that consistency matters far more than perfect circumstances. That period built resilience and discipline that still shapes how I train and coach today. In 2023, I committed fully to my training and began competing. Along the way, a close friend and mentor recognized my potential as a coach and encouraged me to step into that role. Coaching became a natural extension of my journey - using my experience to guide others toward strength, confidence, and long-term growth.
For much of my early adulthood, I struggled with my health. At 21, I was diagnosed with dysautonomia - a moment that provided answers, but also forced me to confront new limitations. The biggest obstacle wasn’t the diagnosis itself - it was fear. Fear of pushing too hard. Fear of failing. Fear that my body would always hold me back. Learning how to train intelligently within those boundaries was humbling. For a time, it made me cautious and unsure of what I was capable of. Over time, however, understanding turned into confidence, and confidence turned into strength. What once made me timid is now the reason I feel empowered to compete and coach.
I believe fitness should feel empowering, not intimidating. My purpose is to help people build trust in their bodies - especially those who feel hesitant, limited, or unsure of what they are capable of. I am most passionate about working with athletes who want to get stronger and healthier but need guidance, patience, and encouragement along the way. I understand what it means to navigate limitations, listen to your body, and still pursue growth. Watching athletes realize they are capable of more than they believed is what drives me. I aim to create an environment where people feel safe, challenged, and confident - because that is exactly what transformed my own life.
