About Coach

I grew up playing football, basketball, and baseball achieving All State Honors in all three sports. Having been used to year round activity, competitive CrossFit was a perfect fit in college. From 2013-2016, I attended Radford University and competed at multiple high level events such as Wodapalooza, MAAC, and two Superfit Pro Division competitions. The fitness and mental toughness gained from CrossFit directly impacted my ability to begin and currently work a successful career in the Marine Corps. While I still love throwing down with some competitors from time to time, the main goal of my fitness journey is to faithfully serve my country and set a positive example for my Marines.

Turning Point

I developed my passion for fitness in middle school. I was the “chubby” kid who was deemed “cool” enough to hang out with the popular kids, but was often the butt of they’re jokes. As I matured both physically and mentally, I learned the value of treating others with respect and dignity. The lessons learned from middle school impact my leadership style in the USMC and my coaching style in the gym to this day.

Motivation & Passion

My motivation is to see people succeed. Whether that be my athletes in the gym or my Marines at work. We are all capable of more than we know. I also understand that success looks/feels different from person to person. I love assisting in helping others find what success looks like for them!
